אלה - 'ELAH : Pohon Oak, Pohon Ek, Pohon Kayu Jati (TL), Terebinth tree (Pistacia terebinthus), turpentine tree, pohon Tarbantin .
* Yosua 24:26 LAI TB, Yosua menuliskan semuanya itu dalam kitab hukum Allah, lalu ia mengambil batu yang besar dan mendirikannya di sana, di bawah pohon besar, di tempat kudus TUHAN. LAI TL, Maka segala perkataan itu disuratkan Yusak dalam kitab taurat Allah, dan diambilnya akan sebuah batu yang besar, didirikannyalah di sana, di bawah pohon kayu jati, yang dekat dengan tempat suci Tuhan. LEMBAH TARBANTIN (THE VALLEY OF 'ELAH) :
Melalui lembah ini orang Filistin memasuki Palestina Tengah, lokasi :
* 1 Samuel 17:1-3, 21:9 17:1 LAI TB, Orang Filistin mengumpulkan tentaranya untuk berperang; mereka berkumpul di Sokho yang di tanah Yehuda dan berkemah antara Sokho dan Azeka di Efes-Damim.
17:2 LAI TB , Saul dan orang-orang Israel juga berkumpul dan berkemah di Lembah Tarbantin; mereka mengatur barisan perangnya berhadapan dengan orang Filistin. 21:9 LAI TB , Kemudian berkatalah imam itu: "Pedang Goliat, orang Filistin, yang kaupukul kalah di Lembah Tarbantin, itulah yang ada di sini, terbungkus dalam kain di belakang efod itu. Jika engkau hendak mengambilnya, ambillah; yang lain tidak ada, hanya ini." Kata Daud: "Tidak ada yang seperti itu; berikanlah itu kepadaku."
